Thurlaston Meadows is stepping back through the centuries this June as we proudly host a full Medieval Re-enactment Weekend in partnership with the renowned Coventry Levy Re enactment Group. Across two immersive days, our grounds will be transformed into a bustling medieval encampment filled with living history, skilled demonstrations, and interactive experiences for all ages.
Visitors can explore authentic period tents, watch thrilling combat displays, learn about medieval crafts and daily life, and meet the characters who bring the Middle Ages vividly to life. The Coventry Levy team will showcase traditional weaponry, armour, cooking, storytelling, and the realities of life in a medieval community.
With demonstrations running throughout both days, themed refreshments, and plenty of opportunities to get hands on with history, it promises to be a vibrant celebration of heritage, community, and summer at The Meadows.
